African Episcopal Church: Leadership Appointments & Elections
The African Episcopal Church joyfully announces several key appointments and elections to strengthen our governance, deepen our mission, and support the expanding global work of our Church across the Afro-diaspora.
With thanksgiving to Yahuah Elohim for guiding our Church in wisdom and unity, we are honored to present the following leaders in their new roles:
Leadership Appointments & Elections:
The Rt. Rev. Kelly R. Carrington, Ph.D.
Elected General Secretary
Bishop Carrington will oversee the administrative life of the Church with diligence, clarity, and integrity, ensuring transparent communication and coordination across all provinces.
The Rt. Rev. Jack Lumanog, D.Min.
Appointed Secretary of the House of Bishops
Bishop Lumanog will support the House of Bishops in its deliberations, documentation, and governance, enhancing the unity and collective witness of our episcopal leadership.
The Rt. Rev. D. A. Sherron, Th.D.
Appointed Vicar General
Bishop Sherron will serve as chief deputy to the Presiding Archbishop, assisting in oversight, adjudication, and the smooth functioning of the Church’s ecclesial life.
The Rev. T. Dre’An Davis
Appointed Provincial Administrator
Father Davis will coordinate provincial operations, communications, and logistics – ensuring effective administration as the Church continues its rapid global growth.
Bro. Cornell Carrington
Elected Provincial Treasurer
Brother Carrington will faithfully steward the financial resources of the Church with transparency, responsibility, and devotion to our mission.
