🌿 Preparing for the Twentieth Sunday after Pentecost – Year B
Friday, October 4, 2024

📖 Scripture Preview:
As we prepare for Sunday’s reading from Mark 10:17-31, we reflect on Jesus’ conversation with the rich young ruler. Jesus challenges him—and us—to release what holds us back from following Him fully. “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” This passage reminds us that true discipleship requires surrender and trust in God.

🙏 Prayer:
Lord, open our hearts to Your call. Help us to let go of worldly attachments and to follow You with trust and devotion. Lead us in the path of generosity and faithfulness.

💡 Reflection:
What might be weighing you down or distracting you from fully following Christ? Take time today to reflect on how you can surrender more deeply to God’s will.
