🌿 Reflecting on the Twentieth Sunday after Pentecost – Year B
Monday, October 7, 2024

📖 Scripture Reflection:
In yesterday’s Gospel, Mark 10:17-31, we heard Jesus’ challenge to the rich young ruler: “Go, sell what you own… then come, follow me.” This passage reminds us that following Christ requires a heart free from the grip of material wealth and worldly attachments. Jesus calls us to radical trust in God’s provision and to find our treasure in Him alone.

🙏 Prayer:
Lord, help us to detach from the things that hinder our walk with You. May we seek Your kingdom first, trusting that You provide all we need.

💬 Reflection:
Where is God calling you to let go and trust Him more deeply? Reflect on how you can live with greater freedom and generosity this week.
