🌿 Preparing for the Twentieth Sunday after Pentecost – Year B
Thursday, October 3, 2024
📖 Scripture Preview:
This Sunday, we’ll reflect on Mark 10:17-31, where Jesus encounters the rich young ruler and challenges him to let go of his possessions and follow Him. “Go, sell what you own, and give the money to the poor… then come, follow me.” Jesus invites us to examine what we cling to in life and asks us to place our trust fully in God.
🙏 Prayer:
Lord, help us to let go of anything that holds us back from fully following You. Give us the courage to trust in You alone, and to live lives of generosity and compassion for others.
💬 Reflection:
What in your life might be keeping you from fully trusting and following Christ? As you prepare for Sunday, reflect on what it means to live a life of radical trust and generosity.
