🌿 Midweek Reflection: Twentieth Sunday after Pentecost – Year B
Wednesday, October 9, 2024
📖 Scripture Reflection:
In Mark 10:17-31, Jesus says, “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” This striking image reminds us that the pursuit of wealth can cloud our hearts and keep us from fully trusting in God. Jesus calls us to release our attachments and embrace the freedom found in Him.
🙏 Prayer:
Lord, help us to clear away anything that distracts us from You. Teach us to live with open hearts and hands, trusting that true wealth is found in following You.
💬 Reflection:
What attachments in your life might be limiting your spiritual growth? Take time today to consider how you can deepen your trust in God and embrace the simplicity of faith.
