🌿 Midweek Reflection: Eighteenth Sunday after Pentecost – Year B
Wednesday, September 25, 2024
📖 Scripture Focus:
Today’s reflection draws from Mark 9:38-50, where Jesus teaches about the importance of living without causing others to stumble. He calls us to radical self-examination, saying, “If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off.” This is a powerful reminder to remove anything from our lives that draws us away from God or harms others.
🙏 Prayer:
Lord, help us to examine our hearts with honesty and humility. Give us the strength to let go of anything that hinders our relationship with You or others, and guide us in the way of love and integrity.
💭 Reflection:
What in your life might be causing you or others to stumble? Take time to reflect and consider how you can walk more faithfully with Christ, removing any barriers in your spiritual journey.
